A great product after getting used to it.

My girlfriend and I both got a water bottle in order to stop having to buy water, since the water in our area is kind of strong tasting. At first, we were kind of upset at how the bottle always seemed to leak from around the lid, but we soon came up with a couple of tips:
- Don't overtighten the top when you screw it on. I believe this deforms the top of the bottle and causes it to leak, since the bottle plastic is not as rigid as other bottles.
- If you squeeze the bottle, don't squeeze too hard. I've found that just sucking on the top produces the best results, but when you squeeze it, you can't squeeze too hard or else the water flow rate is too much for the filter and it leaks out of the lid seal.
With these two things in mind, the water bottles have become the greatest thing to have with us, as even the most horrible tasting water becomes drinkable. I'd highly recommend these to anyone. They drastically reduce the taste of chemicals in the water and do a really good job of filtering. |
Convenient, tastes good, and good for environment

I purchased this because I kept seeing ads for it on [...], where I track my daily food intake. At first I didn't quite know what was so special, but now that I think about it, it's a great thing to have! It's really convenient to refill (you just use tap water), it tastes really good, comparable to PUR or Brita filtered water, AND it saves so much on plastic water bottle waste.
And for the previous review who returned it because they couldn't get water out, all you need to do is turn it over and squeeze the bottle. That's why it's a squirt bottle, anyways! Happy drinking! |
Does what it's supposed to do.

| The water processed through this bottle's filters tastes totally pure. I could detect no hint of sulfur or any other distasteful flavoring. In short, it works just fine. Looks like stainless steel, but it is plastic, so don't be deceived by its appearance. Highly recommended. |
Pure, crisp water anywhere

This water bottle is great for many reasons!
PROS:
1) No more bottled water. In fact, water from this bottle tastes better than most bottled water (personal preference, since I don't like "spring" water and its added minerals.)
2) You can fill it up anywhere. Everywhere I have gone, no matter how pungent the chlorine smell and taste, I have gotten just amazing water. The filter, according to the manufacturer, works for 500 gallons.
CONS:
1) Bottle design: the bottle is too flexible and is prone to denting. The dents worked themselves out. Only around 3/4 of the bottle is fillable, thanks to the filter attached to the top.
2) As with any proprietary water filter, the availability in the future of the custom filters is uncertain.
FINAL WORD:
Get it. You'll be doing something good for the environment and your wallet. |
I love it! I love it! I love it!

This bottle is great! Take it to the Gym, Work, Pretty much everywhere you might be tempted to buy bottled water! Go green and save on bottles but also save money!!! Whoever the person was that had to send the product back must have gotten a defective model because what I received in the mail works exactly as presented on this website.
Great Product. Try one and I am sure you will be tempted to come back and buy more of them!

| Clear2Go is a great water bottle as the filter allows me to fill up my water bottle anywhere I am. I use it at the office as I used to carry filtered store bought bottles every couple of weeks and carry them into work on a daily basis. Now I leave my Clear2GO bottle at work and fill it up as I need through out the day. A lot less hassle and it works great the water taste great and I figuire that one filter should last me up to a year. Super product. |
Great Buy

| I am saving so much money on bottled water. Also since I live in CA, no redemption deposits and then taking the bottles to the recycling center. Water tastes great. Will be buying one for each member of the family. |

| OH yea, i bought this product when i saw it advertised, ok, i paid 20 dlls but i think it worths every penny. first of all, you can carry it every where and you don't have to look for a regular faucet to fill it up, you can do it even from it's river, bottle will do it's job, where i work we don't drink 100% filtered water, we don't reemplace filter very often for some reason, and water is not very clear, so now this bottle solves the problem for me and now i know im drinking clean water and do something for my planet. buy it, you won't be dissapointed. |
Excellent for the price

| I've shopped around looking for one of these for quite some time that I was willing to pay the price for and that would work in my bike water bottle holder. For the money, it works great. It does take a little patience, but if you've ever seen a Brita filter in action, you should expect that. I don't think it takes any squeezing, I just tilt it straight back and let it trickle into my mouth. The taste is still slightly plasticky, but, well, it's plastic (I'm spoiled to my stainless steel bottle). I use it as a backup--take my stainless steel one, then fill this when the other is empty. One thing I really like is how wide the top is--I can go to a restaurant and ask for a little ice and then fill it up without any trouble. All in all, a great value for the money. |
Great, but slightly flawed.

This product is good, but like most anything, has its flaws. I could go on repeating all the pros about it like everyone else has said (save money, landfills, etc...) but I will instead list the cons that I have thus far encountered.
It is difficult to squeeze, but in no way is it "impossible" like some say. Also, you need to realize that THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL WATER BOTTLE. Do not expect water to come pouring out at lightning speed. Its filtered! Just like water filter pitchers and most filters, it filters SLOWLY. Therefore, you need to be realistic when purchasing this filter water bottle. It filters a good amount at an appropriate speed, I feel. In regards to those two "problems", I typically sip while squeezing and really cannot complain that much and its not why I subtracted one star.
My main complaint is it leaking. It leaks no matter how hard or light you squeeze. In the picture on here (zoom WAY in), you seem a little "tab" type thing on the top of the bottle next to the spout. Well for some stupid reason, its holes (I can only assume to let air back in after squeezing it out) so water drips out of them. When I first used it, I was constantly dripping water all over my chest. The only way I found around it is to cover it with my top lip when drinking, or open my mouth wide when squeezing it in air to let the drips fall in my mouth. SO frustrating at first.
I have only had this shortly so who knows how it will stand the test of time, but so far I like it! Hope this helps. :) |

| The bottle size is good - convenient for carrying around or in the car, enough water for half a day. This bottle-filter setup is much better than the straw-sucking setups of other filter bottles. |

| I am well pleased with the Clear2Go bottle. I was looking for a water bottle with built in filter for when I am away from home and do not have access to my own filtered water. It works very well and the cost is most reasonable. A far better alternative to creating mounds of trash from purchased bottled water! |
Good, but not great.

First of all, I got what I order. The product is much as it appears on the site. It arrived well packaged and in a timely fashion.
I gave this product 3 stars only because I believe it is not worth $20. I tell myself that I am doing a good thing for the environment and that in the long run I will save money. Truth be told, this made-in-China product looks intriguing, but feels like cheap plastic. I imagine the cost of the bottle lies in the filter which is tied to the screw-off top.
The bottle is not insulated and if you freeze it(so it will thaw during your walk/workout), it sweats profusely.
I believe I would have been better off purchasing an insulated cup and using filling it with th filtered water from my Pur water pitcher. It would have been cheaper.
Bottom line is buy it if you must, but don't expect to be wowed. |
Must squeeze hard

| Before I ordered this product, I was excited to see a water bottle with it's own filter. I spend a fortune on bottled water. The idea was great, but I found it harder than expected to drink the water. I had to squeeze hard to get the water out. Perhaps for a guy, or someone stronger than me, it's probably easier. But for a weakling like me, or a child it might not be the best. I will use this bottle until I find something a little easier to use. |
Well, it's okay...

| I ordered this water bottle after doing lots of research on filtering water bottles and found the reviews on this one to be good, and the price is definitely reasonable. I got the bottle and it's exactly what they say it is. The shape is nice and the lid does not leak. However, you have to squeeze really hard to get any water out of it. Then when you want to take another drink, you have to unsqeeze to let the air back into it, then squeeze again. So there's no actual "drinking" from this water bottle. It's more like a work out for your hand and you might get your throat wet too. I don't think I'll be buying a replacement filter once this one is worn out. |
great concept but water tastes "plasticy"

| Love that this water bottle has it's own, changeable filter though the water tastes like plastic. Can't tell if it's the rubber in the top or the actual bottle. |

I thought of this as a filter on the go for my office because the water out of the water fountain just tastes weird. So I was excited when I saw this small filtered water bottle. Like other reviews say, HAVE TO SQUEEZE IMPOSSIBLY HARD to get anything out.
It's definitely not worth it because it takes you 5 minutes to squeeze all of the water out of the bottle even if you are just sitting there trying to get everything out. Great idea. Awful Execution. And I'm a 25 year old male, so this would be even more difficult for most people. It'd be easier to get water out of a cactus... |
Do NOT purchase
