| I used to buy these filters locally for my Braun Flavor Select, but, when I moved, I could not find a source. I am so glad I've found them here because I wouldn't want to do without them. Although the Flavor Select does come with a dummy cartridge to place where the filter belongs, it is well worth your while to use the water filters. I was going through coffee pots every couple of years because of hard water deposits in the lines - and vinegar cleanings did not help. The filters have kept my Braun brewing coffee without ever having to use vinegar or other methods of interior cleaning. While I can't say that my coffee tastes better, I can attest that these filters have lengthened the life of my brewer. |

| These filters are great, especially if you have a water source that you have to work against with making the coffee taste strange. I can tell the difference in taste when putting a new filter in. If you love coffee, get the Braun Flavor-select coffeemaker and purchase these filters. |

| I purchased these filters for my coffee pot. I have purchased them several times from Amazon. It is convenient to order instead of having to search the stores. They are difficult to find in the general marketplace. I appreciate being able to order them from Amazon and the price is right. |

About water filters...

Now...do we really need them, or have we just become over-hyped about the safety and taste of drinking water? Well, as a true lover of a good cup of coffee, and having the Braun KF600 coffee maker (which uses these), I go ahead replace the filter bi-monthly as prescribed. Hey, it certainly doesn't HURT to remove the chlorine and impurities from your java water!
And if you're going to use them, what better way to buy them then Amazon! As an 'Amazon Prime' member, I simply click and have them at my door step in a couple of days with no shipping costs. You know, it's getting harder and harder to persuade myself to head to a store nowadays. |

Solution to Hard To Find Filters
|
| Review Date: May 12, 2007 |
| Reviewer: D. Reichardt, Burlington, WA |
Purchased a Braun coffee maker 2 years ago and have had zero luck finding
the water filters in local stores. These fit the bill perfectly and the
ease of purchasing online, in the comfort of my own home actually has
turned out to be, in the words of Martha Stewart, "a good thing". Will
continue to purchase in the future and have had no problems whatsoever. |

Great for our Braun Coffee Maker

We have hard water and although I flush out our coffee maker frequently, these Braun Brita filters do help in preventing so much calcium deposits from accumulating.
These particular filters are difficult to find in the stores and why I purchase them from [...].
Additional Note: I checked my order from Amazon for these filters and they were under $10.00 each. There has to be a price error on these filters. Stop and think, filters Braun recommends be changed every two to three months cost more than the coffee maker! No...don't pay this ridiculous price! Buy a new coffee maker every few months...just kidding folks! The suggestion is about as silly as the filter price! :) |
Overpriced

| The pricing for this product is unbelievable! I just checked the European webpage for Braun parts and there you can get the water filters for 11.00 Euro (approx. $ 17.50). Somebody tries to make big bucks. |
